Alan T. Zingelman

1931 - 2014

Zingelman, Alan T. Passed away on November 5, 2014, peacefully at his home in Mather, CA, with his beloved wife of 56 years, Nancy, at his side. Al had a huge heart and at 83, it finally gave out. Al was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 9, 1931 to the late Harold and Margaret (nee Petree) Zingelman. He had three older sisters, Jean Weimer of Holly Hill, FL, Ruth Hall of Prescott, AZ, and the late Doris Beck Mayer. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a graduate of Marquette University and a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan. He will be missed by many, especially his wife Nancy (nee Brinkmann), his three children, Anne (Mark) Novotny of Rescue, CA, Tom (Blanca) Zingelman of Sacramento, CA, and Alane (Dave) Saphner of Muskego, WI. His spirit will live on in his six grandchildren, Dillon Novotny; Amye, Caleb and Sarah Zingelman; and Zachary and Lauren Saphner. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, Nov. 14 at 10:30 AM at St. John Vianney Parish in Rancho Cordova, CA.
