Al was my second cousin, with whom I became better acquainted later in life. I much admired his sense of concern, his genuine kindness and his sure faith. God's speed and comfort to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Al's passing, my thoughts are with you, Anita, and wish you great comfort during this time. You both were such lovely neighbors when I lived next door many years ago, and my parents enjoyed you both as well. You're in our thoughts, be well~

Mr. Strege was a neighbor and he was one of the kindest of men there ever was. He had a front yard full of roses and other flowering plants that were always so beautiful and made you feel happy to just look for a bit. God bless you, Mrs. Strege, and God speed to heaven Mr. Strege.
