The Lennartz family were neighbors of ours on 40th & Villard. I remember Simon & Clara well. They were friends of my parents. And the 2 "girls" Evelyn & Cecelia were very nice to my brother Wayne, Sister Karen and me. I miss them all! I did not know how to find her, or if she were still alive, or I would have visited her. I am so sorry I didn't pursue it further.

"I am proud to say I knew this wonderful Christian woman as my neighbor at Villa Vista. She prayed for my daughter and her family while they were missionaries in Uganda, Africa. What a remarkable woman. I am so glad I saw her recently at the Piggly Wiggly and we had a nice conversation. She totally loved her family."

Dear Barbara, Steve and David,
Your Mom and Aunt Evelyn were life long friends of our Mom (Esther Lonergan). I can remember as a child getting together at each others homes and how welcoming your families always were. I know how caring Celia was when our Mom went into assisted living as her mind could no longer function for her to live alone. Your Mom was concerned and wanted us to keep her informed on how Mom was doing. We won't bring Mom to the service it's just too cold to bring her out, but we will be thinking about all of you. We send you our sincerest sympathy on the loss of your Mom, but know she is happy being back together with your Dad. They were a wonderful couple. We will be making a donation to St. Jude's in your Mother's name. God's blessings to all of you,
Joan Reiter and Jean Loof

What a shock! Just exchanged Christmas cards last week. I was her friend since I sold her eggs 54 years ago. I will miss her lovely letters, and updating me about her family. I am very sad and will miss a good friend.
