Beebe, Glen A. Died peacefully, Sunday, October 20, 2013, at age 79. He was born Dec. 19, 1933 near Benton, WI to E. Alvin Beebe and Mae W. (Hughes) Beebe. Glen attended the University of Dubuque before serving in the U.S. Navy 1955-1957 on the USS Johnston DD-821. After being honorably discharged, Glen worked for several years at a packaging company in Menasha, WI followed by a long career as Purchasing Agent and Vice President for Beck Carton Company, Milwaukee, WI retiring in 1998. Glen enjoyed golfing, traveling, attending the Brown Deer United Methodist Church, serving on the Board of Directors for the Servite Woods Condominium Association, attending USS Johnston ship reunions and spending time with friends and family. Glen is survived by sisters Bernice (Dean) Beyhl, Elva Jane Sincock, brother James (Ann) Beebe, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and numerous very dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents E. Alvin and Mae W. (Hughes) Beebe, sister Dorothy (Beebe) Cox, brothers-in-law Oran D. Cox and Stuart Sincock. Visitation at the Funeral Home, Thurs., Oct. 24, 1-3PM and visitation Friday at Counsil Hill Church (6603 W. Counsil Hill Rd., Scales Mound, IL), 1-2PM, Funeral Service at 2PM. Burial to follow.

I worked with Glen at Beck Carton for over 15 years. He was my Lunch buddy and my friend. We have kept in touch over the years . I will miss him. His wonderful humor, his good company and his compassion. I will miss you Glen. Grace Kerwin
