Joe, Thank you for your kind words. Your Dad & my Uncle Freddie were such good friends. Your Dad was one of a kind. I'm sure they're looking out for us.

My sincere sympathy and regrets to the entire Chermak family in your loss. I never had the privilege of meeting him to my knowledge, but my father, Chuck Porten, spoke often and fondly of a life long friendship with "Freddy" and their childhood escapades growing up in Pelican Lake. I know they remained very close all their lives with a mutual respect for one another. Please find some peace in that he's being embraced with a big hug from so many people that went before him, and I know my father is anxiously waiting his turn.
