I am going to miss Doris at Emanu'El and around town. She was a great philanthropist and leader.

Doris was one of the very few genuinely "real" people that I ever knew. I enjoyed being her Mosaic partner and already miss her.

Dori and my mother, Margi Flanagan, helped start the lcoal branch of Job Corp. together in Milwaukee back in the early 60's. When I was a child I remember visitng the office on 6th Street and meeting this wonderful lady named Mrs Chortek. This was one of many non-profits that Dori was extensively involved with that had such a positive impact on ao many people. I met Dori again when I became involved at the Skylight Music Theatre where she also was involved. It was a blessing to see Dori again after so many years. Dori was such a great person; she truly will be missed. My condolences to Dori's family. John Flanagan
