I've spent some time thinking about your Dad since his passing. It's not grief I feel, for I didn't want to see him suffer.
It's not loss I feel for he was not only my client, he was my mentor and friend as well and that will live on.
It's not self pity I feel for losing him, Henry would not allow that.
What is it then that I feel?
Certainly blessed to have known him.
Loved in turn to have loved him.
PRIDE TO HAVE CALLED HIM FRIEND.
Sad,no. Because by letting him go, we keep him forever.
Henry was one of a kind. Driven, Successful. A father like most fathers of his generation I would suspect.
More so, He was and always will be Henry Uihlein. My Friend.

I was so sad to hear of Henry's death. He was the best boss I ever had. I worked for U-line in the seventy's and I still remember how kind he was. I know his wife and children will greatly miss him. I am sending my prayers for the whole family. Shirley Scholz Ortiz

Our condolences to the Uihlein family. It was such a pleasure to know Henry. His sense of humor and positive energy were an inspiration—not just watching him play hockey as long as he did, but, for years after he left the ice, Linda and I would see him at the fitness club, working out, chatting with everyone, long after most guys would have hung it up. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Joe and Linda Bremner

Henry was truly a rare and precious gem. He was a kind and giving human being, and a joy to know.

I offer my sympathy to his family and friends. He will, indeed be missed. This is one man who made the world a better place in which to live.

Dear Henry:

You are one of the reasons I understand timeliness. While you are sitting upon a cloud with friends, please take a moment to sprinkle some of your special wisdom down on the rest of us.

Thank You and God Bless

Mrs. Uihlein:

You have my sympathy.

Your husband told me about U-Line, the law firm I worked for and half of River Hills on a train ride to Chicago many many years ago. He had a great sense of humor and his story telling was wonderful.

RIP Mr Uihlein. It was an honor and priveledge to work for the U-Line Corp from 1995-2000. You and your family always took the time to talk and give me a pat on the back for my strong work ethics and loyalty. I was always treated with respect and not considered just a number. I never should of left such a wonderful company. May God bless and watch over your family and help them through this sad time. They can also rejoice because our good Lord has welcomed you home.
