My deepest sympathy. There are only a handful of professors who are remembered by their students. He was one of the few. I still remember many of his guiding lessons of political science when I watch the news or follow campaigns. And, oh those tricky multiple choice exams. I was very sorry to hear of his passing. I was lucky to be one of Dr. Bibby's students. He sparked in me an interest in politics that I still have. He was a good, kind and caring man as well as a good teacher.

Professor Bibby was a good soul; always kind, very intelligent, and always made time for his students. I still have all the papers I wrote for his classes at UWM. He always wrote meaningful and thoughtful comments on them. Please accept my condolences.

Lucile and family,
We are very sorry to hear of John's passing. He was truly one of the good ones. We always enjoyed our discussions on politics with him, and discovered his interest in art on one of our trips to D.C. a few years ago.

Our sympathy to you and the family,

Prof. Bibby ignited my interest in politics. He was a wonderful teacher who was very generous with his time outside of class. I feel very fortunate to have known him.
