Herr Doepke was one of the best teachers I ever had and influenced my life greatly. I was never the best German student but 4 years, every day of Herr Doepke's thoughts, focus and a drive changed my life forever.

He will always be remembered by many especially me.

Rip Mr Doepke. Still think about your class whenever I look up and see the stars. (class 98)

Herr Doepke, was a major influence in my life, I was never the best German student but learned so much from his example, dedication to hard work and focus. One of the best teachers I have ever had.

Sacher Torte, German wine, humor, Silent Night in German (I remember every Christmas)

I remember Mr Deopke with fondness. He had a great sense of humor, and was a kind man. Didn't even mind German class so much with him as a teacher. Teri Sell ( Fowles)

Ar, I was sad to hear of this news. Praying for you and your family during this time of transition. As you always say to me..."arms around you", my friend.

Although I never had Mr. Deopke as a teacher when I attended Martin Luther in the late 1970's to early 1980's, I always remember him as a commanding presence whenever you encountered him. No doubt however that he knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. May the Lord Jesus Christ be with the Doepke family at this time.
