I met Ralph in 1974 when I joined The AMES Company. Over the next years, along with many other lawn & garden colleagues, we became the "Rat Pack". Ralph, of course, was the leader of the pack! For almost 40 years I was privileged to have Ralph as a business associate and more importantly, a close personal friend. Ralph lived his life with passion and purpose and was fiercely loyal and dedicated to his family and friends. King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 7:1 that, "a name is better than good oil". Ralph nurtured a good, valuable name for himself and his family. I will sorely miss him and will especially miss his quick wit and humor and will smile reflectively, when I think of him fondly in the future. Lorrel and I wish to extend our deepest heartfelt sympathy to the
entire Sallmann family.
Great Uncle Ralph will be missed, My thoughts and prayers to Carol.
Our deepest sympathy to you Carol, and your family, at this sad time.
I will miss Uncle Ralph (a.k.a. Creep) dearly. There was never a visit that went by where he didn't make me laugh. He had the best sense of humor. Even in sad times, without making light of the situation at hand, he would somehow make me laugh. It is the remberance of his humor that is going to get me, and I hope you, though this very sad time. My love to all the family. Love, Barbie
