You were a terrific godfather to me, and I am blessed to have known you. I have wonderful memories of rock hunting with you and Aunt Stacia, memories of you riding my horse Sundance years ago during a visit to the farm (with your elbows up under your chin and hanging on for dear life!), you painting my fingernails on one of your many trips to our farm in SE MN, visiting you in Oak Creek a number of times through the years, etc. You had a wonderful sense of humor, you were always easy to talk with too, and not only were a terrific godfather, but a good friend. I'm already imagining the wonderful reunion you're having with Aunt Stacia and Debbie, not to mention Boots and Heidi, too. I love you.....

Bob - A long life, well-lived. Have known you since 1975 when you and Stacia visited John and me with a collection taken up at work for John due to our auto accident. We purchased manure from you for our garden(s) when living in "Tosa." Since moving to Oak Creek we've seen you often, for repairs to our lawn mowers, out for lunches around town and over the yeqrs taking you to the Christmas parties held where you and John worked at GMAC (A-C Delco). Will sure miss being able to stop in for a chat, advice, both giving and receiving; showing you how to wind and set your alarm clock so as not to miss church at St. Matthew's as you did not trust your electric alarm clock. We laughed a lot and told many stories - no one else can take your place.
