Dear Cathy and John and Boys (actually men now!!)

Unfortunately, I've learned no matter how old you are or where you are in life, it HURTS to lose a parent. It changes you in ways you don't quite understand until it happens to you. It affects all of us differently yet profoundly.

We know your dad is in a better place, John. It's the people who loved him and are left behind who need our prayers and support.

Thinking of the Dombeck family and very sorry for your loss,

Gerry (Greenwood) Bournelis

Our condolences are with you at this time We are Ruth and Jim Lorge of Port Washington, and knew the Dombeck family quite well. Jim's dad and my dad both worked for what is now WE. I knew Rita his sister because both of us were in the same grade. All of us attended St. Mary's grade school and Port High together. Jim was a very likable person, and we always had a goodtime when we were together. The last time I saw Jim was when he was in Port to help restore power after our tornado struck Port in Sept of '64. I also worked for WE for 40 yrs., and have been retired for 26 yrs. We're sure he will be sadly missed. Jim and your family will be remembered in our prayers. May he rest in Peace.
Jim and Ruth Lorge
