… a remarkable and inspiring human being.

Karen was the kindest and wisest supervisor I ever had the pleasure to work with and learn from. Her passion for human rights fueled everything she did. She treated everyone with respect and inspired so many to join the fights for equality and accessibility. We were all blessed to know her. Rest well, sister.

"Karen, your passion, committment and selflessness and most of all,YOU are missed!!. Your dream was allowed, now dreaming from a cloud. Rest in glorious peace."

Its really hard to describe the impact that Karen had on everyone around her. She was a mentor, a role model, and always led and spoke from the heart. We will miss her greatly.
