A Polie Officer's Prayer: Lord, I ask for courage. Courage to face and conquer my own fears. Courage to take me where others will not go. I ask for strength. Strength of body to protect others and strength of spirit to lead others. I ask for dedication. Dedication to my job, to do it well. Dedication to my community, to keep it safe. Give me, Lord, concern for those who need me and please, Lord, through it all, be at my side.

The Thin Blue Line will always remain strong and will never forget!

Terri sent me one of my favorite texts:
The Seven Rules to Life...a few years back and I still have it on my phone:
1. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the presesent.
2. Time heals almost everything, give it time.
3. What others think of you is none of your business.
4. Don't compare your life with others, and don't judge them. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
5. Stop thinking so much. It's alright not to know the answers. They will come when you least expect them.
6. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
7. Smile. You don't own all the problems in the world.
She was a magnificent lady and my life gained valuable meaning because I knew her. God Bless her family in strengthening them through this difficult time. Lord send angels to comfort them. She was and still is a great mother. Amazing lady!
