Mohr, Thomas E. A fifty-year resident of Thiensville, WI passed away Friday October 25, 2013, age 90 at Alexian Village, Milwaukee, WI. Tom was born May 27, 1923 in Milwaukee, son of August and Elsie (nee Erdmann) Mohr. He graduated from Rufus King HS, June, 1941. He served in U.S. Army Air Corps 1942-1945. He married Gretchen (Barnes) on August 17, 1944. He graduated from Marquette University in 1948, with a BS, electrical engineering. Tom served his community with distinction: Milwaukee Home Defense Corps Block Warden, Thiensville Civil Defense Director, Thiensville-Mequon School Board, Thiensville Special Police Officer, Thiensville Planning Commission, American Legion Post 457 adjutant and Thiensville Historic Preservation Committee. He worked at Louis Allis, Doerr Electric and Leeson Electric as Chief Electrical Design Engineer. He was a member of Mequon United Methodist Church. Survived by children Thomas (Arlene) Mohr of Jefferson City, MO; Peggy Mohr of Adell, WI; Steve (June) Mohr of Cedarburg, WI; Mark (Jane) Mohr of Sturgeon Bay, WI; and Sally (Glen) Lunde of Waukesha, WI; grandchildren Thomas, Bryan, Anthony (Kara), Michael (Andrea) and Samantha; and great-granddaughter Molly (born (Oct. 21, 2013); sister-in-law Doris Mohr, close friend June Campbell, along with other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by wife Gretchen, parents, and grandchildren Regan and Mark Lunde. Memorial Service with Military Honors: 11 AM Saturday November 9, 2013 at Mequon United Methodist Church, 11011 N. Oriole Ln., Mequon, WI 53092. Visitation 10 AM until time of service. Memorials to Thiensville Volunteer Fire Department, Howard J.
