Each time I saw Eddie I would struggle with the question, if God is perfect and makes no mistakes, why then does he allow suffering with Downs Syndrome, MS, Cerebral Palsy, etc. It has taken me 72 years to accept an answer. Thank you, Carmel. Thank you! If God has an apprenticeship program for Angels in Heaven, then Fast Eddie has earned his wings.

I met Ed working at ORCA and then at Reach. What a smile! What a sweet soul. Such a memorable man. He will be missed. And the tribute he was given was nothing short of perfect. Juneau will miss their superman.
