For over 40 years a good friend, talented mentor, supportive father, a good man. He changed the course of my life on two occasions and I am forever grateful.

Oh Eric, our lives crossed so many times, Haines, UAF, Juneau. Through philanthropic causes like United Way and the Juneau Community Foundation, or through tourism or through working with your company. Your brother Peter sponsored me into Rotary. You gave the world so much. We would ripen into each other more frequently at the airports in Alaska than anywhere else it seems and you always had a smile, kind words, a true love for Alaska and her people. Thank you for being a shining light. That you for sharing you. We will miss you tremendously.

My love and prayers go out to Eric's family. I know his Memorial Service will be a true celebration of the life of a caring, compassionate man who reached out to many sharing God's love in so many ways.

To Eric's family, loved ones and friends,

I'm really sorry for your loss. Eric was a great friend of my Dad's, Charlie Williams from Haines, where they grew up together, and shared alot of good memories. Their visits during Gold Medal Basketball tournament every year in Juneau will always be treasured.

Eric came to Ketchikan a few years ago to help my husband Richard facilitate a workshop, and we enjoyed our visit with Eric very much. His personality was so great, and energetic, that you knew when he was in the room. He was also caring, compassionate, and kind.

Dad and I will miss Eric, and I feel like our world is less bright without his warm presence.

Sincerely,

I am very saddened to read of Eric's passing. I had the pleasure to work with Eric on many ocassions regarding native issues and he always showed such caring and compassion. He truly lived a warm-spirited life. I will miss seeing him, but I believe his legacy will live on through those who knew him.
