I am so belated in hearing this sad news. Dennis was always a treat to be around, and I always thought of him as Pat's little brother. Pat, God Bless your family. Hugs, Marie Steinbrecher
I just heard the news that Dennis has left us. What can I say, that hasn't been said. He was all though things and more. When I think of Dennis, the word "kind" is the prominent word that comes to mind. He was a kind gentleman.

May the God of all comfort, comfort you.
Such a loss. My sympathies to you. I also knew Dennis in the 70's through the Forest Service. Great guy. He is fondly remembered by a lot of people. Dotsy Woodall
My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go to his family and many friends. I met "Skinny" when he lived in Sitka and we became great friends. I cherish the fun times in his company.
May the God of all comfort strengthen your family during this time of sorrow. Those who die God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes....(Ps.116:15)
May you and your family receive encouragment from the Hearer of prayer.
It is hard to imagine a world without Dennis in it. 'Skinny' was a very rare breed indeed, always there with a joke and a smile no matter the circumstance.
His view on the world helped me form mine, and I'll never forget his compassion, empathy, and some of his great comments for the truly deserving!
Cristy, I dont know many consoling words for what you are going through, but know that a whole lot of us share at your sorrow.

"Skinny" was a great Medic that I was fortunate to have been on numerous calls with. Great skills, even keeled when the going was tough, a major sense of humor with no ego. Not only the lives he helped saved but his thoughtfulness of the organs to be saved to be donated if allowed; so another person could benefit. Aloha Brah...
