Miss you. Thinking about that fish I made you hold, so I could take your picture. You said to me "Eew Stacey, it's slimy". It made me laugh, coming from the Hunter/Fisherman. That picture is one of my favorites. xoxo

*Jimmy and Heather - I never got the pleasure of meeting your son Jimmy but after reading the messages in the guest book I believe it was truly my loss. I can only imagine the pain you have endured and hope that someday it will ease a little.
Jimmy- To think its coming up on a year and i feel like it was just yesterday. You were always there for me even when i wasn't there for myself. We had a great run together of 25+ years! I'm just so sad it wasnt many more. You are truely missed everyday, every hour and every minute of my life. I know you will continue to watch over me just like you always did. I love you
It's been 6 months since your Memorial, but I still think about you. With the holidays fast approaching, I pray for peace for your parents and for your brothers. xoxo
I still think of Jimmy and this tragedy all the time. All my love continues to be sent to you, the Brown family, my neighbors.
You are always with me. I'm sure Sadie found you.
Hello Jim, Heather,and grandma Nina
I'm so sorry I was not able to be there the 16th as was out of town. Jimmy a was very special young man that I had the honor to coach. Remember the times as it will help. Jimmy loved sports and when coaching him in baseball he used a 38oz bat saying he will get a HR. I told him it's bat speed and a lighter bat would be better. He just smiled and the first time up to bat he hits a HR. As he rounds 3rd base he smiles at me and winks. Thinking back we had lots of fun with each other. In football he was a force that got us conference championships and almost a state championship. In one game against a great passer I saw something and called to Jimmy to zone drop from his DE position. The QB never saw him and he intercepted the pass. I remember saying game over we win, he was so excited, then his D-line coach yelled what the heck. Jimmy smiled, coach told me to and beside we win. In all the times I've know him he always had a smile. Great in sports, hunting and life. Jimmy will always be with me, as I have had such great times with him. Remember the good memories it will help you and yours. Aloha my friend

Dear Jim & the Brown Family,
I had the pleasure of meeting your wonderful son, grandson, and nephew two years ago on a visit home to Juneau. We had a warm visit full of laughter. When Jimmy walked into my brother's livingroom I recall saying "You have got to be Jim Brown's son!" He had your smile, and charm Jim. We spoke of his Grampa, Grandmother, Uncle Dave, and of coarse my dearest friend Kathy. How he loved you all. Sending my love and sympathy to all of you at the loss of Jimmy.
With heavy heart so many miss you Jimmy. I remember your feet where the only ones bigger than my sons and I am sure they helped you hunt, hike and explore all of Southeast. Be at peace Jimmy.
I am so thankful for all the memories and adventures I have had with the Down Town Brown, Jimmy, James, Jim, Uncle Jimmy and the list of names can go on... But I do have one piece of advise for you Jimmy, you better work on your fish filleting up there cause it needs work. Love you....
To the Brown family may you all find some peace. Thank you for sharing your family with mine. My love to you all
Jimmy never sat still unless he was in the hot tub on the Taku. He loved the outdoors and was always telling some story and brought a smile to the group listening. Jim and Heather you brought a wonderful man into this world and he is missed by all who knew him. You both are in my prayers.
Connie and I have been gone from Juneau a long while now, but we still remember Jimmy and his family so fondly. Many memories of when he came into the office for checkups, etc, along with either his Mom or his Grandma Nina. Our heartfelt condolences go out to you all.

You will be missed in the hearts of many who loved you. I know Grandpa Brown was there to welcome you home at the gates of heaven. Im sure you both are catching up on a life time of stories, and much needed missed moments. I can only hope your sad loss helps someone else who may end up in a similar situation learn about survivor guilt, and how and when to get help, and healthy coping. You had a great spirit, a caring, loving heart, and hope your at peace with the Newman brothers your friends at your side. Your stay on earth was short, but lived with passion, you will always be remembered and loved.
It sounds like Jimmy enjoyed life to its fullest and you will always treasure the wonderful memories of your son. Hugs my friend!
I've never had an outdoorsman angel before. Hunting and fishing I'm guessing you'll be there with us. Miss you big guy.
We miss you greatly and want you to know that you will live in our hearts forever. Love Mom and Dad
