Today would have been your 92nd birthday Joy. I miss you and your happy loving ways. I met you through your housing in Seward and would love to be able to talk with you again. Until we can meet again. Gods Speed. Susie McHone
Joy was my aunt, my fathers half sister. I moved from Anchorage to Arizona in 2012. regrettably we didn't stay in close touch. I didn't realize she had passed until my Christmas card got returned. I went to Google and found out that she had passed on. My sincere condolences to all of her sons, daughters and grandchildren. For me she is the loss of my one and only blood relative. So sad for all of us. She was a true Alaska pioneer woman.
Mom's still out there walking in the woods, talking to the birds and rattling an old can with a rock in it, so as to scare the bears.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss and hope all is well with you and your family.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Mary and family I am so sorry for your loss. May you all be comforted by the Great Comforter in Heaven and that you continue to enjoy those beautiful memories of her daily.
im so sorry chris I enjoyed our times in the sluice box on deadwood
I will always remember joy for her smile and laughter. I can still see her standing behind the counter at the copper center Cash Store
she was a wonderful woman she will definitely be missed
My deepest condolences to Joy's family. I knew Joy when the family had the Copper Center Cache. Her passing will leave a big void for her family and her riends. Rest in peace Joy.
