I am so sorry to read about Julie's passing. It's been so many years since I last saw her or any of you for that matter. We will all miss her so very much. RIP Julie. Be glad that you are so close as a family and have such good memories of Julie!
Julie seemed to have a skip in her step the last 2 weeks which comforts me. She was knowledgeable at work and taught me by her example after her passing. She was my neighbor many years ago and I am sure she will rest in peace because she was a gentle and kind person. I didn't know how much I admire and love her until she passed. I truly miss her. My sincere condolences to her many friends and large, warm and wonderful Wahto and extended family.
Julie was such a kind & caring person. Enjoyed her friendship tremendously. Condolences to the Wahto family.
So sorry to hear this. I did not know Julie well, but she was ALWAYS NICE to everybody and we shared a great love of animals. My thoughts are with her family...
Always a kind and sensitive person...I've had the pleasure of working with her during her time at DMV.
My thoughts and prayers are with those left behind.

So extremely sad to hear about Julie's passing. Even though I didn't know her well, she was the baby sister of one of my best friends and the few times I was able to be around her were so wonderful. She had a way of always making me feel like a welcome part of her life and the lives of her family. She will truly be missed. God bless you Julie! May you be forever happy with your puppies in heaven......
To my cousins, I'm so sorry for the passing of your sister, my cousin, there is nothing I could say that could convey my sorrow, it just hits you hard in your heart. I know that your mom and dad were there waiting for her with open arms and joyful tears. I just want you all to know that you are all in my thoughts and how sorry I am for your loss. We will all see her again...

So sad to hear of her passing. She was so sweet and kind. I will miss you Julie.
Prayers for Julie and the Wahto Family. Great parents and wonderful kids. Douglas is always "Home" because of the kind and generous friends and families that make up the close, colorful, and friendly island ton. Julie was a treasure.
It's not hard to see why Julie was loved so much, and is now missed by so many. She was always so generous, and truly cared about others. Because she was so kind and compassionate, she often put the wellbeing of others ahead of her own, just to make them feel welcome, and comfortable. She mastered everything she tried, and not only became the best at creating campfires, and grilling dinner to perfection, but she would adjust her recipes until they just couldn't get any better. She took great pride in her creations, and loved to share them. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to spend time with her, and to experience all those special moments shared with her and her family.
A Sister is a Sister and she was a great One!!!! I will miss you. We laughed so hard about silly Juneau things it was as if I had alway's known her. I Celebrate Her Life. God Bless the Family.
I had the pleasure of having Julie as my friend, for that I am forever greatful. I will miss you my friend.
I did not know Jule, but if anything like Jeanie she was and will always be an amazing person. I saw the date for the first time and realized Dec 1, was my Mothers birthday. So now when I celebrate my Mother Lillian. I will also celebrate the legacy and love Julie left behind.
Julie gave back.. she will be remembered for many fine qualities she had. Cutest smiles, and just a sweet kid.. that I first met in the Personnel Office of Public Safety. RIP dear Julie and know that you were loved~
I am sending love from the Wahto family of Anchorage, Oregon and Arizona. What a beautiful photo of a beautiful spirit. Julie was so loved by her sisters and brothers.
Rest in Peace Julie. We will surround your family with our love.
JoEllen Wahto Sontag, Dave Wahto and Susie Wahto Rivers
A warm and wonderful Alaskan. Many quiet tears will be shed for her. She would not have asked for any of them.
As one of Julie's good friends, her loss has left a huge void. I will always cherish our time together with our dogs, enjoying shared home cooked meals at her sister's (Jeannie and Joe's) place, and chatting around the camp fires. Peace forever to Julie and the Wahto family.
RIP Julie - I'm sadden to hear of your passing, but I liked how your family wrote how you tip toed out. Best way, I guess. You were such a sweet person and had a funny sense of humor. I remember you from Marie Drake and J-D High.
Thank you for visiting...the Wahto door is always open...peace sign
What? Oh my goodness this year isn't starting off at it's best. Julie I remember her from Marie Drake and J-D High, we had a couple of classes together. She was quite but she had a good sense of humor too boot. Oh RIP Julie. If you have to go, that would be the best way. Oh, how sad! Bless your heart! You were always so nice and friendly to talk to.
