Willie, William, Cousin Bill!! Fond memories of our childhood days!! You have left behind an abundance of love!! Good Life!!... Great legacy!! Well done, my friend!!
I often think back to the many good times I had with your family. I especially admired the love he had for his family, the father he was and his love for his grandchildren. Prairie Home Companion was no contest to the story he and Adam composed about a boy, his dog Dill, and their fishing vessel Sea Cucumber. He will be missed by all. We had so many good weekends at Echo Ranch in fall and winter, Adams 1st birthday, delivering mail and the Christmas turkey. Together we enjoyed the cabin a Mosquito Lake, the 44-mile Roadhouse, Haines Pass and the Whitehorse Fur Rendezvous. I feel blessed to have been able to see him in October.
With Love, Lawrence and Lois
I am so very sorry for your loss. Willy will be greatly missed. Please take some kind of solace that he is with some great old friends, one being my Dad. I have only wonderful memories of your family, especially when you moved to Oregon. You and your family are in my prayers. Comfort to you, Brandy (Peterson) Boaz
I was at Valley Chapel recently and was reminded of Willie's part in building that beautiful church. That diamond had lots of facets.
I have great memories of time spent with you and Willy in Juneau. He will be missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love you, Jessicia
I'm sure he had his moments but I always remember Willie as a cheerful upbeat person. I don't think I ever saw him in a bad mood! He had a great sense of humor and was a kick to be around. Although I haven't seen him since he moved to Oregon, his loss is felt. Prayers and condolences to the family and friends - Kevin Miller
Rose, I have so many wonderful memories of the times we spent together with both of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I will be here if you need anything at all. Willy is in heaven were he belongs now. I am glad we got to spend some time with him in his last days. It meant the world to us. I am happy to call both of you "family".
I remember Willy from my years in Juneau. He and his family opened their hearts and home to me in time of need. so grateful for all 3 of you. He is now at peace and I will see yu in heaven. Rose and Adam- praying peace and strength for you. Love Vivienne
Rose, my condolences to you and your family...Steve
My prayers go out to Rose, Adam, and the rest of the family. I remember Willy well, and worked with him @ building maintenance for the CBJ for several years before he and Rose left Juneau for Oregon. I remember well his stories of river rafting and the fighterman's meetings. Rest in peace Willy.
I know Willy only through a song that Alaska's Buddy Tabor wrote about him but that is sufficient for me to know that Willy was a lovely, caring man. RIP, Willy.
