Buddy was a school chum--he had a bit of imp in his DNA.
Buddy and I were pretty close.I could tell a lot of GOOD stories to Stacy if she would like to here them./Saw him and his trademark walk in San Diego when we were in the service and yelled "BUDDY".He was on a transport ship full of MARINES as a Corpman and leaving that night for Viet Nam.(I almost got trapped, only had 1minute to get off.)Ask Jack Ross about the time he picked us up after we got out of St.Annes hospital one night. He was driving his XKE and we just totaled Buddy's uncles truck.I will miss him GREATLY and FOREVER.Rick Lajoie
Sending my heartfelt condolences to Fortuna and other family members and friends.
Buddy was a great childhood friend and the memories of the happy times we spent together will be cherished.
Rip bud -- know that uncle Emory was there to meet you.
After Buddy's mom had moved to the Pioneers Home, I asked if Buddy had been to visit and was told by staff that he had died shortly after Fortuna had moved. He was a great guy, and a great playmate when we were kids.
My sympathy to the family of William Odell. May God's loving kindness comfort and help you through this difficult time. (Psalm 119:50 & 76)
