My beautiful, loving and loved dear friend has taken her leave. What a huge emptyness I feel inside.
We have laughed, cried, and in our own ways comforted each other. Each time we would talk on the phone we reminded each other of the "sock baskets" that each of us had, that somehow had no mates. We'd laugh! We spoke of our children and our "Grands". She adored all of you and spoke with admiration of all of your success.
I encouraged her to write a book but each time she would say, "I don't know what I would write about"? Maybe I was right about the book but what if each of us wrote of our life experiences with this wonderful person that our Lord allowed us to have in our lives, we could write the book.
Know that I carry each of you, her children and grandchildren and now even a great granddaughter each day in prayer. To Tony, words can not express my feelings of sorrow for your loss. To her mother, Dolly, I pray the grace and peace of our Savior to comfort you and give you rest.
To all of you, in your own way, speak of our Vicki knowing that now we have yet another Saint to care for us. It is such a sad time but I rejoice with the angels as they welcome our sister to her inheritance of eternal life.
God's Blessings to all of you.
