Judy and Family
What a privilege to have had such a wonderful and caring person as a mentor. During my senior year my father had an amputation and I missed considerable class time. To help, he trusted me with the room key and time during lunch to complete my labs. What an honor to be trusted by Mr Fusko! Later after graduation I was hired to help during the pregnancy and birth of Michael and Elizabeth. One more honor! He has left a wonderful legacy! Our sincere sympathy for you all. You are in our prayers.

Judy;
I did not know George well but we did have very similar backgrounds. I was born in Billings Montana on August 19, 1941. I graduated from the real University of Montana in Missoula in 1963. I was commissioned as an Ensign in the US Navy as a Naval Flight officer in 1963. I served on active duty in the Navy until 1968 and joined the reserves in 1969. I was a member of VP- 94 in New Orleans, La until I was transferred in my civilian job to Detroit in 1976. I was a plank owner in VP 93 in 1976 and served until 1978 when I was again transferred in my civilian job to Connecticut. I retired from the Navy Reserve in January of 1989. My Naval service or my civilian job was not as distinguished as George was. He defined what a Naval Flight Officer could accomplished. I am sorry that George did not live to see our beloved Montana Grizzles face the MSU Cats on the 113 meeting of the Brawl in the Wild in Bozeman on Saturday November 23, 2013. George please look down from heaven and make the Grizzlies win!! Fair winds and following seas to George and his wonderful family.

Regards,
