I did not have the opportunity to meet Mrs. Gant-Fowlkes, but having known her daughter Debora for a long time, I know she must have been an incredible woman just on the basis of how amazing her daughter (and family) are. My sincere, deepest sympathies go to Mrs. Gant-Fowlkes' family.

I was saddened deeply by Carol's passing. I graduated with her as an LPN and worked with her several years. We have remained in touch all these years. I will truly miss her long informative letters. God be with all of you and comfort you during these trying times.

What a wonderfully kind woman we had the pleasure to know. Carol was a frequent presence in my son's 3rd grade class at Arcadia, which Debora taught. She made pillow cases for all the kids that Christmas and my son still loves his. God Bless Carol and her family.
