We grew up together, you protected me from the neighborhood twins and even would fight for me, you played little league baseball and join Cub Scouts. You taught me alot of things, even demonstrated how to box, with one glove. Your teasing was keen and right to the point, even when you called your brother "Straighty Lady". Ofcourse he called you "CurlyGirly".
We planned and achieved alot of things together, the road trips, we traveled the famous Route 66, discovered west of the Miss. River you could get differnt beer, especially Coors.
And all the music played was your Eagles.
And Your Lions. love and hate them, they were always your Lions.
We witnessed the Tigers winning a 68 Championship and several Red Wing games.
In sports you help me become a decent Jr H. player and then in the J.V years i blocked you out of a scrimmage play, well the next play you flatten me. You were a good wrestler, i was your practice wrestler on the weekends.
College, the White Rabbit, were we would hang out. remember when the drinking law changed in 1972, Uncle bought us our first legal beer.
Your journey in the next existance is a relief and well earned one. I will say even though the pain you went through you never complained and you never took the road of self pity. All of our discussions of life will be remembered. Vayas con Dios bro,,Vic
