Oh Sandy. No....not Mark. I only just heard the devastating news. He had been on my mind knowing he was turning 60 in September. It is difficult to grasp he is gone. I love you both and I will hold you in my heart and keep you in my prayers. May the love and devotion of Danielle and John and your beloved grandchildren help to hold you up and see you through this most difficult time.
Heaven is now blessed with a dancing Angel.....

Dear Sandy, I was so sad to hear that Mark had died. I know that even when life was tough for you, he was there by your side. I hope your memories can be a source of peace--you two loved each other dearly, Amy (K College English dept.)

I met Mark at DHS. He was always so happy and friendly. One day he asked me about a music festival (Meryl Fest) that takes place in Wilksboro. NC. I I was so surprised when I ran into him there. He was alone, (pre-Sandy) but making friends as he always did. He had gone because he was curious and liked that kind of music. The more I got to know Mark, the more I learned that he was curious about almost everything and had such an adventurous side. In the years that followed, I saw Mark and Sandy at many music events, including Wheatlad. And they sure did cut up the dance floor.
I am so saddened by his passing. My thoughts are with you Sandy.

Sandy,
Words can't express what I would like to say to you, I'm so sorry to hear this about Mark "Sparky". He was a rock. You could always ask a favor of him and he would do it. He was such a great help to me when David was ill. I have many years of wonderful memories of him, you and his family that have all passed before him.I'm so glad you both came for a visit last year and I was looking forward to seeing you this year. I am sure they are all in heaven playing cards and having a good time and all are at peace. Sandy, you have my deepest condolences, may God give you strength in your time of grief. I love you.

Sandy,
I remember when a few of us from "K" college were at the "oldies" dance at Wings Stadium many years ago and Mark kept asking you to dance and we kept urging to go for it... I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and always..
