I just saw the notice in the WMU magazine about Jaysassong and am heart broken. I had held Jay in the highest regard as being a great guy and avid Bronco supporter. He had actually had me over to his home for Thanksgiving one year when I was playing basketball at Western and was unable to go home because we had practice the same day. My wife Peg and I are praying for the family.

My heart goes out to Helen and the family. Jay was such a good man with a heart of gold. He will be missed.

Being one of the families of Oshtemo I've known the Browns all my life. Jay has always been active in community activities and I remember him always with a smile on his face. My sympathies to the Brown family

I am so very sorry to learn of Jay's passing. My kids and I have such wonderful memories of Jay that we will never forget although it has been many years since being in touch. What a wonderful legacy Jay leaves! For the many kids he coached over the years, he gave them a perfect example of kindness and compassion. That Jay and Helen Brown crossed paths with ours is something for which I will always be grateful. My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy are with you all.
