Passed away September 2, 2013, at Rose Arbor Hospice. Mary was born February 19, 1920, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph and Lillian (McGrary) Ruffin. A veteran of WW II, Mary proudly served her country in the US Army Air Corp. On July 30, 1949, she married Robert Marlow and he preceded her in death on January 3, 1989. Mary was a long time member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, where she laundered the church linens for over thirty years. Members of her family include her children: Mike (Laura) Marlow, Kathleen (Ronald) Adams, Nancy Marlow Reilly, and Terry (Lorene) Marlow, a sister: Betty Westfall, a sister in law: Nona McCrorey, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mary was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister. Mary's family will receive friends, Thursday, 5:00 to 8:00 PM, with a vigil service at 7:00 PM, at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home, Delton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, September 6, 2013, 11:00 AM, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Delton. Rev. John Tran, celebrant. Burial with full military honors will take place at Prairieville Cemetery, under the auspices of American Legion Post 45, Hastings.
