Flinn, Edra F., 88, passed away on November 21. Edra was born on July 7, 1925 in LaCrosse, KS to Edward and Katie "Stieben" Weigand. She was married to Frank Pechanec and Marvin Flinn. Edra was a loving, caring individual who would do anything she could to help even an ant. She frequently volunteered with Heartland Hospice, the VA Hospital and the American Legion Auxillary. She is survived by her children Faye Evans, Douglas (Debbie) Pechanec, Roger (Gina) Pechanec and Deana (Shane) Mead; sister Betty Huber; grandchildren Wade (Julie) Evans, Troy Evans, Stephanie, Charity and Joe (Crystal) Pechanec; 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grancdchildren including Harlie Evans; and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Edra was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Katie and one sister Marjorie Millner. Visitation 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 24; Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, November 25, both at Heritage Funeral Home, 502 W. Central Ave., Andover. Interment will be in the Lacrosse City Cemetery on Tuesday, November 26 at noon. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Heartland Hospice, American Legion Auxillary, Unit 401 or Faith United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.

On behalf of Voluntary Services at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center we send our deepest sympathy. Edra is deeply missed, not just for her dedication to Veterans but her dedication to all of us here. Edra volunteered 1,038 hours to the Medical Center and has brought joy to all of us. We truly miss her.
