Marcus was like a brother to me. I've known him since the day I met Alex in 2nd grade. He is smart, funny, kind, and always made me laugh. He used to say that Alex and I would end up together or something like that. Then when Brandon Hogan came into play, he said the same thing. I am now nicknamed, Mrs.Hogan lol. I miss Marcus dearly and continually think about him. I love you marcus. RIP <3
Your entire family remains in our prayers during the days, weeks and months ahead.
Our family thought the world of Marcus and have many memories with our son and Marcus playing football at Dallas Academy. Our hearts and prayers are with the family.
I miss you so much MARCUS! I've known you since I came to Dallas Academy. You were so nice to me, and welcomed me with open arms. Your were a great friend, and always said: hi to me! You always came up to me when I was looking down, and comforted me. I remember our lunches on campus at DA. You, me, and Alicia being goofy middle schoolers. We had the best of times. Well you were an awesome friend, and NO ONE WILL EVER FORGET YOU! YOU ARE LOVED BY SO MANY PEOPLE. I can't wait 'til we reunite again, I know your at home in a better place with our Lord Jesus Christ! We will meet again MARCUS! WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH....
Marcus,
I know we didn't know each other that well, but I just want you to know that you've taught me so much. I'll never forget your smile, or that talk we had for as long as I live. And people keep talking about how you'll be forever missed, well I beg to differ. I'm going to miss you, yes, but I'm going to see you again when I get to Heaven. And I'll thank you for teaching me so much. For teaching me to smile through the pain, and for teaching me to live with joy and love like there's no tomorrow. Like Jaimie said, in Christ there are no good byes. So I'm not going to say good bye. Instead, I'm going to say "See you again" because I will. So here it is....I'm going to miss you man, but I'll see you again!
