Memories and Condolences
for Merle Wagoner

Not sure what to say?

Mom, It's been 4 months and as I sit here this evening, missing dad horribly, my heart aches mostly for you. Some might say, "oh she's got 8 children to comfort her", but dad was by your side for the past 57 years and he was your comfort. Yes, you two "bickered" at each other, but anyone who truly knew dad, knew how much he loved you and how much you loved him. My favorite memory of dad, was watching the two of you dance together. The way he would swing and carry you around the dance floor, was like watching a new father, so in love with his new born baby. Man he could move, and you trusted his every move. Mom, I know you miss dad as we all do, but trust in the lord and know that one day we will see dad standing beside GOD waiting for us one by one to tell us how glorious it is in heaven and we will be so happy to see that he is young, and vibrant, and full of life and take comfort in knowing he is no longer in any pain. Love to my Wonderful, Beautiful mother, and each of my sweet sweet caring brothers and sisters. Love each of you always ~ and Thank you for Loving me Sheryl~~

Aunt Doris and all my cousins it's with a heavy heart that I send these prayers of comfort to you all.
I don't think in all my years that I can recall a time that Uncle Merel was without Aunt Doris by his side. No matter how much time passed between our meetings he always had a great smile and kind words to share. Uncle Merel was always able to instill a comforting calm in my heart and a connection of family in any situation. The Dad's and Uncle's in our family may leave us in this world. But the legacy they leave behind will never be forgotten by those they've touched. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by your memories and all the love and support from family and friend's.
