As a student of Robert Town in the late 60's he gave me the insight of playing the pipe organ throughout my life as a treasure that many have passed by in our current society. I honor his presence I experienced in college and remember his passion and dedication to those he taught. Lou Lynne (Shore)Moss

Rest in Peace, Professor Town. You touched and inspired many students and not only those under your tutelage. Thank you. Time to jam with the giants.

Dr. Town's love of music and love the the grandest of all instruments will be missed...but his kindness and his encouragement will always be cherished.

Bob will always hold a special place in my heart. He was a very kind hearted man with many talents. He will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr Town's beloveds. We loved hearing Dr Town play the carillion downtown in the Historical Museum, the many concerts, the many recitals, and his great God-given gift that he graciously shared. Thank you for sharing him with all of us.
