Alice Louise Braatz, 88, of Belton, MO, formerly of Kansas City, passed away December 27, 2012. She was born in Pleasant Hill, MO. She was formerly employed by Bendix Aviation Corp. Mrs. Braatz was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Mission, KS, Belton VFW Post No. 8220 Ladies Auxiliary, and AARP. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold C. Braatz. She is survived by her daughter Mary Lou and son-in-law Tim Flagler, and grandchildren Renee and Trent Flagler of Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, December 30, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital Diabetes Clinic, 3101 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111.
