Mr. Bierman was my dad's banker in the 80s. I divorced and had savings bond problems (couldn't get them cashed). Dad took me to Mr. Bierman and he said "I'll take care of your bonds for you." I will never forget his kindness to a divorced woman with a 3 yr. old, no job. My dad/mom did so much business w/him at the old Leawood Bank at 85th & Ward Parkway. There aren't bankers like him any more. So sorry he is gone; I know he was loved & will be missed by many. God Bless.

Judy, Nancy, Bo & Kids: I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing. My favorite memory of Mr. B was him teaching me to drive "Big Blue," the old blue tractor at Beverly Lakes. He told me not to go past 2nd gear because the grass wouldn't get cut evenly, but I think he didn't want me to drive too fast and get stuck in the lake....which I did. When I knocked on his door to ask for help he just laughed that great laugh of his all the way to the muddy tractor!!
Your family is in my prayers.

To the Bierman family,
I knew Don through our mutual relaionship in the First Chater Corporation..he at Ward Parkway and i at FNBKC back in the 70s. I had the privilege of sharing a few duck blind mornings with Don, Bill Brownfield and Bill Duncan, and those days will always be cherished memories of mine. Dan had a warm dry wit and wry smile when telling tales of the travails of bank operations within the holding company, funky customers, etc. He knew his stuff and was a great duck man. I was so blessed to have known him.

Don and my Dad were Chiefs season tickets holders together since the late 60's. When Arrowhead opened Don walked me all of the way to the top. I'll always remember his laugh

Judy, Nancy & family: our thoughts & prayers are with you all. He took care of everyone while he could & bragged on each of you regularly. He was just a big kid at heart & you couldn't be mad at him even if he did just hit you up-side the head with a rubber band!. What a wonderful, fun-loving man. We tell "Bierman Stories" around here all the time. God bless you & keep you in His care. from Don's co-workers at Community Bank of Raymore.
