So sorry for the loss for your family. Even though I am a life long Braves fan, I always liked Gary for the way he played the game. May the LORD grant you peace at this time and rest assured that you will see him again.

As a pree-teen sports fan I became an Expos fan due in large part to Gary Carter. I thought that if I could play sports with even half of his joy, desire and enthusiasm, I would enjoy playing. I did and I shared in his accomplishments throughout his career. Always enjoyed hearing interviews he did and his passion for life and the game. Gary, you will be missed! May you family be comforted by the joy you brought to them over the years. To your family, my thoughts and prayers are with you!

We can only imagine, that when Mr. Gary Carter walked through the Pearly Gates of Heaven wearing #8, there was a STANDING OVATION! Rest in Peace.
