To the Reed Family: I am so sorry for your loss, actually all our loss. I have know Gene my whole life, through my daddy Charlie Garrett, & he is a great person. Eternal rest grant unto Gene, O Lord, & let perpetual light shine upos him. May he rest in peace.

It is so tough to see the great ones go. Sorry for your loss. I have so many great memories of Mr. Reed when he would walk in the Pro Shop at Milburn Golf and Country Club there was not a day that did not go by when he would always offer a warm greeting with his hand shake and great smile. He was a legend around there with his Pop Style Putting Stroke. Thanks for the memories Mr. Reed. Kirby Garrison

My parents, Ralph and Rita Austin met Gene in the 40s at Farmers Insurance Group, in 1950 he sang at their wedding. Mom and Dad always talked of fond memories with Gene and Mary Ann during their Farmer Days and at Topper's Club. Gene came to my father's funeral in September '13 I found that very touching. On behalf of my sisters Ruth, Rhonda and myself our sincere condolences to Mary Ann and family.
