I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Carla a long time but in that short time I found her to be a woman with a beautiful heart ,Great sense of humor and a strong woman who never let her illness define her. Carla will be greatly missed.
In loving memory, Aunt Hazel
They say cousins are the first friends you have. Well, this is so very true. Carla is only seven months older than myself. I can't imagine what this must be like for troy and the girls. I remember my cousins, carla, crystal, janine, stacy and I were all close in age. When the family would get together, Carla was one of the ppl i wanted to no if she would be there or not. We have a big family and those girls were my friends. I looked forward to hanging with the cousins. She was an incredible person and will missed tremendously. This is a very sad time in many lives! But she wouldn't want us to stay sad...we must just keep her memory in our hearts and the girls and troy in our prayers! Love you Carla!!
My prayers and my heart go out the family
Lifting you all up in prayer.
I am so sorry for your loss. I attended vo-tech with Carla at Fort Osage and we stayed in contact for a few years after graduation. She was a beautiful person and will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she has touched.
I will truly miss your smile Carla. You were such a great friend and co-worker. You made me feel so welcomed when I first started AEB, and was so lucky to get to sit by you all those years! May God comfort your family and all those who love you.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Carla, you were a wonderful person and terrific co-worker. From the very start you made me feel welcomed at AEB and you always had a pleasant smile and a great sense of humor. You will be dearly missed.
Carla, you were such a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile! You will be missed by so many people!! You were such a good friend to my sister, Cindy, and to our family! May you rest in peace sweet Carla! May God wrap his arms around Troy, Samantha and Shannon and help them heal and find comfort in this very difficult time!
Carla, that joyful smile will forever remain as you are remembered as one of the nicest ladies on earth. So many at 2323 Grand count you among the rare treasures we get to encounter. Rest in peace, knowing you indeed left earth a better place. Keep smiling!
I only new Carla for a short while, but she was one of the sweetest, nicest people I could ever meet. Our daughters were in cheerleading together, and we feel blessed to have known her and have her bless our lives for the time we knew her. You will truly be missed Carla.
Carla was a very strong and courages person. I remember when we all went to Cozumel the plane ride over Carla, Troy, Ronnie and I where in the very last seats by the restroom and she looked at me with that beautiful grin of hers as in what the hell but once the small plane was almost full the stewardess came back and points at Carla and Troy and then us saying we have to even this plane out you are moving to First class free food and drinks! I was so glad for her knowing she had only known for a little while about her cancer and it was around her birthday. We had so much fun on that trip with 18 of us I just loved how much she smiled! I have known a lot of people with cancer but she never let it define who she was. Because who she was was one first class lady. I feel very blessed to have called her a LOL sister. I well truly miss you Carla your smile and your beauty! <3
