In remembrance of my father, I'll miss you Daddy. From the time I was a very little girl, you were always there for me. I miss you every day now and think of you with fond and loving memories. I'm glad I was there to hold you and kiss you good-bye. It was so hard to watch you suffer, but now you're without pain and suffering and flying with angels. We have a lifetime of memories to share of the happy times and adventurous stories of the past that will be retold to our children and our children's children. I love you, Your daughter, April
It was an honor to know "Ben" and his family as my neighbors for the last 19 years. We had many discussions, shared ideas and he and his family are an example of the American dream. My deepest sympathy goes out to his wife and family . He was loved and will be missed by many.
I only met Mr. Holmes once and I was truly impressed!! I know how much his family loved him especially his youngest daughter Melody. My heart goes out to him and his family. May you rest in peace sir, you are greatly missed already. Thank you for your service and your kindness.
I light this candle in remembrance of my Uncle, my mother's older brother, and my father's best friend when they were young men. He was there for me when I was diagnosed with brain cancer and during my post recovery. I am blessed to have such a wonderful uncle and family! love to all, Elizabeth Miller
I can only imagine the great time that my Dad (Bob Todd) and Uncle Benny are having being back together. They were always the best of friends. I'm sure there are some great pitch games, pinocle games, and horseshoe pitching going on up there. Uncle Benny you will be greatly missed. I have many fond memories growing up and spending time with you, Supha, and your dear children. We'll all have that great and happy reunion with you and our other loved ones who have passed on some day. Until then, I love you, dear Uncle Benny...
This is light of love for my beloved brother, Benny I am missing you now and for ever until we meet again, your little sister, Tootie
I am deeply saddened by the loss of my only brother, Benny, he was my protector and best friend all these years. He was there on the day I was born and I was able to be with him during his last days. I so appreciated Supha for her devotion to my brother with all the loving care and comfort she gave him on this difficult journey. I am looking forward to meeting him in heaven, someday. His little baby sister, Tootie (Flora Virginia Holmes-Johnson)
My condolences go out to the Holmes family and all their loved ones. I was glad they had the restaurant in Cleveland. It was one of the highlights of my young life!! You have a great family and we will miss Ben, our condolences, our prayers are with you, Love, Patty (Hinds) & Ben Luker and family
My memories of Uncle Benny mostly revolved around things he and my dad "Bob" did together along with Sonny, my cousin (Benny's son.) Uncle Benny and Dad were best friends for many years right up to my dad's death in 1991. My father's death greatly affected Uncle Benny I believe for the remainder of his life. I had the utmost respect for "Uncle Benny" and was most fortunate to have him for a role model all the years growing up. He will be greatly missed.
Uncle Benny will be missed in our family. I'm very proud that he served in the military to protect our country & loved one. He had a special gift & talent with his love of building airplanes and was a man of great wisdom. My mom & dad loved him very much and he became a true brother to my dad "Robert Dean Todd". Mom, "Phyllis H.Todd" thought the world of her baby brother & loved him very much! It won't seem the same without him, he will be truly missed...We will miss you Uncle Benny. An angel has wrapped you in their loving arms and you will be protected. Love you Uncle Benny!!!
