As a graduate of th UMKC School of Medicine, class of 88, I considered Dr. Dimond a most exceptional scholar, gentlemen and mentor that I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I will always remember his many words of wisdom both regarding the practice of medicine, but more importantly, life in general. I will always consider him one of my "idols", and feel fortunate to have been his student and friend.
