I loved Howard very much, he was a very good friend and helped me so many times. We bacame friends because we loved dogs, lived near to each other and my dad had worked for the KC Chiefs as a coach so we watched the games together. he loved my little dog Duchess and often watched her when I went out of town. he was her "Daddy" as he called himself and was always there to help me in any way when she needed to be taken to the vet or picked up or just baby sat, he was there for me. He helped me with all my car issues and changed countless numbers of tires for me during the 8 and 1/2 years I knew and loved him. I willl never forget him! He was one of the smartest, sweetest, kindest, and most courageous men I have ever known and I am a better person for having had him touch my life in such a wonderful way. Although I only knew some of his family, I want them all to know how much I will miss him and respected him. He was such a gift to anyone who knew him. God Bless all of you, with love and prayer, Rose Mary O'Boyle and her dog Duchess (formerly KCMO residents, currently residing in North Carolina with family.
First of all...Im so sorry for the families loss. I was best friends with Howie back in the 5th grade at Indian Creek Elementary School. I was thinking of him and decided to look him up on Facebook and instead discovered this. I really hate to see this and again I am truly sorry...Rest In Peace Howie...
Howie was my 5th grade student. I will never forget our days at Indian Creek
Howie Howie Howie.....I had the biggest crush on you when we were at Center Jr. high. But loved being your friend, I remembering speaking to you about a year ago on the phone. When I heard of your passing I got chills and teared up. Your a forever friend. Love and Miss you! Please watch over all of your friends down here. Mrs. Malick said hi, we had lunch.
You will be missed, Howie!! The world was a funnier, brighter place with you in it!
So sorry to hear this.. I havent seen him since high school. I will always remember him fondly. He was my favorite high school bf. Always sweet, never had a harsh word. Loved his laugh and his smile. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rest in Paradise Howie!! <3
I have the fondest memories of Howie growing up - my brother, sister and I all adored him, especially as children following a very cool teenager around. I always loved when he'd stay with my family during the summers, which always included staying up late to make french fries (his favorite!) or cruising around in his TA with VERY loud music. He was loved and will be missed...
Our hearts are with you Jill.
