Barbara and Jay,
I am so sorry to learn of the death of your father. KCK has lost an icon. He will be greatly missed in our community. He leaves a wonderful legacy.
Peace be with you.
Cherishing a life well lived, everyone will remember Mr.Butler. He was a wonderful man. God Bless Joe and his family. RIP Joe. My condolences to the family.
Though I did not know Joe personally,I would have loved to . I remember having the pleasure of meeting and speaking with him after my father passed and I went with my mother and sister to arrange for his service there.
Joe was so caring and friendly, I asked my mother if he was related to us. His genuine and compassionate spirit showed through how he personally treated each one he met at the most difficult time of their lives, as if he were part of your family and sharing in your sorrow.
The level of caring and expertise in all areas he made sure was given, left families with wonderful and lasting memories of the last time they would see their loved ones.
I attended several funerals at his establishment and they all were so beautiful and personal. That is quite a wonderful and honorable legacy to leave.
And so now, I say to his family and loved ones, thank you for sharing this wonderful man ,with his genuinely loving and compassionate spirit with us all.God bless you all and may you be given in this time of your great sorrow, the same peace that he Joe has given to so many . He will be greatly missed.
Yes he was a great friend , he made my Dad service very special for us years ago , He will truly be missed
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Jo was a wonderful friend, and business man to our family, always enjoyed seeing him with his smile
Thoughts and prayers to Jay & Barbara especially.
My father worked Saturdays for Butler & Sons Funeral Home for many, many years. Mr. Butler's kindnesses to my family both throughout my father's life and especially at his passing are not forgotten.
Barbara, Sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
The Butler family has taken care of four generations of funerals for my family with so much care and compassion. He always participated in the services that meant so much to us. God Bless to his family and know that he has served his community well. Pat Oszman - Hayes

I am grateful for the life of Mr. Butler. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.
Jay and Barbara, please accept my sincerest condolences. I was truly saddened to learn of your father's passing. He and I go back a long way. The Butler family has taken care of the final arrangements for my family as far back as anyone can remember. I will particularly miss Joe's sense of humor. I have but one arm, and at the passing, a few years ago, of a close friend's mother, I pulled Joe aside and ask that he tie my neck tie for me. He replied, "Sure, but I can't do it unless you lie down." Priceless! I'll miss you Joe.
A truly exceptional man, who will be dearly missed! My heart is saddened. But know Joe is in heaven telling all his great stories! My thoughts and prayers to Barb and Jay!
