My heartfelt condolences to Mr. Shadid's wife and children and to all of his colleagues in the Media. I had the pleasure of speaking with him a couple of times when I worked at The Boston Globe Store. I remember him fondly.

Our hearts go out to his family also. My husband and I still pray for and care about others losses even though we have been battling brain cancer and we would also pray for his wife and children at this time.
