You don't know me ... but I was a friend of John while I was at KU. We jammed together once in a while.

I savor those memories and wish I had stayed in contact with John while I live in KC. He was a great guy.

I came across his name while checking the Kansas Music Hall of Fame of which he was very much deserving membership.

The video gallery of John reminds me of the classmate I recall so fondly as a kind, compassionate man who was sincerely interested in all who knew him. He certainly helped me when I was in great need. Thanks John.

John was my high school classmate. We reconnected at our 25th class reunion and periodically stayed in touch. He was a sweet, kind and gentle man who made me smile. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with Beth, his children and grandchildren.
