Thank you for instilling such high values in your son. He is a true hero. May he rest in peace and know that your family will be in our family prayers. My nephew, Sgt. Jason Brown, was with Justin in Afganistan and is stationed at Fort Campbell, KY.

Kevin, Phyllis and Ryan,
Warren and I are daily sending you our deepest love and prayers to you. We grieve with you over the loss of Justin. He touched our lives in a way that cannot be expressed in words- only felt intensely in our hearts. Please know that Justin meant so very much to us. It was our honor to know him and have him as part of Karle's life and Warren and mine. Our love is with your family.

To Justin's Parents,
Although Larry and I just met you and your lovely family at FSU graduation and Army commissioning last year, there are just no words to tell you how deeply we have been affected by Justin's death. You have, and will continue to be, in our thoughts and prayers every day. Chandler loved Justin and I am so glad that he had the opportunity to grow so close to him. As I read the condolences on-line here, I'm sure that you, as parents, can sense how profoundly Justin influenced the people he came into contact with during his life. You raised a wonderful man who knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life and achieved his goals... how many people live their whole lives without any goal or influence the people around them in the positive manner in which Justin did! I think all of those who knew Justin sensed that he was someone particularly special that God had put on this earth for a special mission that we will come to understand some day when we join him. My sister lost her 23 year old son several year ago and it is the single most difficult thing that our family has ever lived through. I will continue to pray daily that God gives you strength and his peace in the coming days. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us through Chandler if there is anything we can do or if you just want to talk one day.
Rest in peace, Justin...job well done.
