My sincere sympathies to the family of Kenneth Melchior. I had the pleasure of sharing our views and ideas on the markets with Ken over many years. We both worked for different firms , in the same building and took breaks together occassionally. He was a smart man, and a friend.

I had the pleasure of working with Ken at Merrill Lynch. He was a great guy to work with and will be truly missed.

I am grateful for the life of Mr. Melchior. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

I am sorry to hear of Ken's passing. Years ago when I was in high school and college, I played tennis with Ken many times, he usually brought along his two basset hounds. Excellent tennis player and a wonderful guy! Very fond memories of Ken.
