What an honor to had known and played with Lucky. He called me at times to sit in with the SCAMPS and what a ball I had. I will miss his smile and his genuine personality. What a beautiful talent God put in our midst. I am sad that he is gone but I know he is in a better place. Family, you have my prayers. Charles Williams

The Phoenix gang aka "The Board of Directors" back when Lucky, Rusty, Tim and Jim were jammin there will truly miss "Dad" as we used to call him back then. Always up, always a gentleman and always a great entertainer and musician.....God just didn't make them much better than Lucky Wesley. KC's "jam room" just won't be the same without him!
Keep 'em hoppin till we get up there Lucky!!!

My mother passed in October of last year and she and my step-father used to go see the Scamps every Friday at the Sni-Blu Lounge in Raytown. I often met them there, and enjoyed them as much as my mother. Although I didn't know Lucky personally, I will always remember his smile and his graciousness.
