I am a huge fan of Ryan Freel. I have been a Reds fan for 40 years and few have demonstrated the amount of heart and passion on the field of play. Had a chance to meet Ryan at a Reds Winter Caravan event in Muncie, In two years ago. May God be with his family. Thank you Ryan for appreciating the opportunity you had and also for your desire to give back to kids. You will be greatly missed. Steve Wells

Words cannot express the sorrow my husband and I feel for Ryan and his family. He was a favorite when he played for the Reds and all of our grandchildren own a t-shirt with Freel on the back of it. We will remember him as a wonderful baseball player that was genuine to his fans. I will treasure the picture I had taken with him at Reds fest and how sweet and polite he was with me by signing that picture. Our prayers are with you Christine,Ava Alex and Aliana. Hold your most precious memories close to your hearts forever.
