John,Jay, and Connnie.
I am sorry to hear about your Dad. I remember spending many evenings and alot of New Years Eve at your house. Your parents were gracious enough to have John's and my wedding reception at their house (42 years ago). Roy had such a great sense of humor and such a gentleman. Julie was such a lady, they were both amazing people and i have thought about them alot over the years. Best wishes to all of you and you are in my prayers.

I had the privilege of working with Roy for over 10 years in the Kansas City District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I always considered Roy as probably the most proficient of all of us in writing a good sound appraisal report in a minimum of time. He testified as an expert witness in court and was unflappable. He had a great sense of humor and was beloved by all.
My condolences to all family members and friends of Roy.
